Black-tie social affairs, silver anniversary parties, jungle-themed bat mitzvahs . . . you name it and, chances are, it's probably been done at the Zoo! From the catering and entertainment to the tables and chairs, the Memphis Zoo can handle all of your event details. See the Zoo come alive at night for all your party animals and you'll see why the Zoo is called "the best place to be spotted in Memphis!"
Private Zoo Nights
Are you looking for a new way to say “thank you” to your employees or clients? What better way to reward them than with a night they’ll never forget with family, friends & co-workers! Add animals, entertainment or catering to your event for a celebration you and your guests will look forward to every year!
Proms and Socials
You wont find a wilder setting to dance the night away. Plus, there's no need to decorate - the Zoo's a theme in itself. Bring your band or DJ, and we'll show you where to party.
Things to remember:
A 20% deposit is required to reserve your space. The remainder of your balance, plus any additional
charges incurred, will be due prior to your event.
All private events must be scheduled three weeks prior to your preferred date. All rentals based on
availability. Any special packages or additions must be made prior to signing your contract.
The Memphis Zoo accepts cash, checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Regular Zoo admission is not included with after-hours rental fees.
All decorations must be approved by the Private Events Department no later than three weeks prior
to your event.
Balloons, straws, lids for cups, glitter, confetti and glass bottles are strictly prohibited.
No alcoholic beverages will be allowed during regular Zoo hours.
We apologize but the Zoo is unable to provide transportation for decorations or other items for your
event. You may unload your vehicle through a special "service entrance" if you request this
service at least 2 weeks in advance. Please plan accordingly.
