PUBLIC ZOO SNOOZES

For:  Children ages 5 and up and parent chaperones, unless otherwise noted below

         Discounted prices offered for Zoo Members.

    To reserve a space at a Public Zoo Snooze, or for more information, call 901-333-6765. Snoozes are booked on a first-come, first-served basis and our calendar does fill quickly! 

    Cancellation Policy for Public Zoo Snoozes
           Cancellations made prior to one (1) week before the event will forfeit 50% of the program cost.
           Cancellations made within one (1) week of the event will not receive a refund.
           No-shows will not receive a refund.

     

    These Public Zoo Snoozes are offered each year:

    New Year’s Eve Snooze

    December 31st, 2009
    Begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 10:00 a.m. the following morning
    For:  Children ages 6 to 12 ONLY
    Cost:  $75 per child for Zoo Members
          $85 per child for Non-members
    Includes a pizza dinner, fun party favors, admission to the Zoo for the following day, and an exclusive Zoo Snooze t-shirt for each participant.

    • Send your child to spend the night at the Zoo and celebrate the New Year in a wild way! Your child will meet some animals close up, tour part of the Zoo on a moonlight safari, and participate in fun games and crafts. There will be a countdown to the New Year at midnight with party favors and snacks to celebrate.
    Mother’s Day Snooze

    2010 dates and information to be determined

    For:  Children ages 5 and up and parents
          Children must be accompanied by an adult

    • Looking for a unique way to celebrate Mother’s Day? Come learn about marvelous mothers in the animal kingdom, meet some animals up close and take a moonlight safari through part of the Zoo.
    Father’s Day Snooze

    For:  Children ages 5 and up and parent chaperones
          Children must be accompanied by an adult

    • Buy Dad a wild night at the Zoo for Father’s Day! Fathers can spend the night with their sons or daughters! We’ll learn all about animal fatherhood, tour part of the zoo on a moonlight safari, and play some exciting games. A late-night snack, breakfast, a special Zoo Snooze t-shirt, and admission to the Zoo on Saturday are included with registration.
