The Memphis Zoo's here to help your Scouts do their best. We offer Badge in a Day programs and special Zoo Snoozes to help them learn the law of the pack.
Badge-in-a-Day Programs
An exciting program geared toward Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts, the
Badge-in-a-Day program will give your scouts the opportunity to
complete requirements necessary to earn a badge (or elective or
achievement) while participating in fun, educational, and interactive
activities including crafts, live animal visits, experiments, and tours
of the Zoo.

Available for Girl Scout groups; Boy and Cub Scout groups; Group leaders and parent chaperones
$25 per scout
Minimum of 15 and maximum of 33 participants
One free chaperone is admitted for every 10 scouts
Scouts should provide their own non-microwaveable, non-refrigerated lunch
Participants are responsible for acquiring earned badges, beads, arrow points or emblems from their local Council

Programs can be scheduled on select Saturdays throughout the year.
Call with your preferred dates in mind.
Programs are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis, and our calendar does fill quickly.
If your Scout group does not contain 15 scouts, call anyways to check for availabilities.
The Memphis Zoo will help small groups combine to meet our minimum program requirements.

Cancellation Policy for Badge-in-a-Day Programs:
* Cancellations made prior to one (1) week before the event will forfeit 50% of the program cost.
* Cancellations made within one (1) week of the event will not receive a refund.
* No-shows will not receive a refund.
