The Zoo provides a one stop solution to your event. We can take care of all the wedding and reception details, including reserving your caterer, entertainment, tables, chairs, and totally planning your special day. We'll
help you celebrate your special day - whether you're looking for
traditional or something a little on the wild side.
The Zoo has several areas available for weddings.
ZOO COURTYARD

Be transported to the Great Northwest. This exhibit boasts three waterfalls, a beautiful underwater viewing room with Polar Bears on one side and Sea Lions on the other, a Traditional Longhouse and a meditation garden. Experience a Polar Bear Feeding or a Sea Lion Show.

Have a roaring good time in the Cat House Café! The Café is available for rent 60 minutes after closing time until midnight. The Cat House Cafe can be rented in conjunction with the Zoo Courtyard.

THINGS TO REMEMBER
- A 20% deposit is required to reserve your space. The remainder of your balance, plus any additional charges incurred, will be due prior to your event.

All private events must be scheduled three weeks prior to your preferred date. All rentals based on availability. Any special packages or additions must be made prior to signing your contract.

The Memphis Zoo accepts cash, checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Regular Zoo admission is not included with after-hours rental fees.

All decorations must be approved by the Private Events Department no later than three weeks prior to your event.

Balloons, straws, lids for cups, glitter, confetti and glass bottles are strictly prohibited.

No alcoholic beverages will be allowed during regular Zoo hours.

We apologize but the Zoo is unable to provide transportation for decorations or other items for your event. You may unload your vehicle through a special "service entrance" if you request this service at least 2 weeks in advance. Please plan accordingly.
