ZOO SNOOZE
This is NOT your ordinary slumber party—it’s a ZOO SNOOZE!
| Come discover the nightlife at the Memphis Zoo! When the Zoo gates
close at the end of the day, your adventure is just beginning. Your
night of exploration typically begins at 7:00 p.m. and ends the next
morning at 9:00 a.m. Are you up for the experience? You and your group
members will get to… |

• Meet animals up-close
• Go on a moonlight safari
• Participate in fun games and activities
• Get a private look at the Zoo’s Animal Nutrition Center
• Enjoy the Zoo the next day after the program ends

All participants sleep in indoor, climate-controlled areas
(unless otherwise noted) with restroom facilities, but no showers. A
late-night snack and a light continental breakfast are served. Zoo
Snooze t-shirts are available for all paid participants, and 24-hour
security is present at the Zoo.

Please note the following:
|
|
• A $200 deposit is required to register. A confirmation letter
detailing your Zoo Snooze will be
mailed or e-mailed to you after
completing registration and upon receipt of deposit.
• The
Memphis Zoo reserves the right to split large groups into two rooms or
to combine
groups to meet minimum participant requirements.

Our Zoo Snooze programs are overnight adventures! With a variety of
program choices for groups of all types, you’re sure to find a Snooze
program right for you. For more information, click on the Snooze type
below that seems best for you and/or your group.

Scout Group Snoozes |

Gather your scouts and make tracks to the Zoo! Our Zoo Snooze program
gives your Girl, Boy, or Cub Scouts the opportunity to work towards a
badge while participating in fun, educational and interactive
activities. |

School Group Snoozes
|
| |
|
Do you ever feel like your classroom is full of wild animals? Let
your wildlife meet ours in this overnight Zoo adventure. Experience the
sights and sounds of the Zoo after dark as we immerse your students in
the natural world.

Church and Other Group Snoozes
|
| |
|
Bring your youth or children's group to the Zoo to learn more about the
wonders of the animal kingdom. This program features an "Animals of the
Bible" tour, along with many other nighttime adventures. |

Birthday Party Snoozes
|
| |
|
Come celebrate your birthday with a sleepover at the Memphis Zoo!
Parties are designed for children celebrating their 7th through 12th
birthday. Each party includes fun games and activities, treat bags and
a special gift for the birthday child. |

Public Zoo Snoozes
|
| |
|
Several times a year, the Memphis Zoo offers Public Zoo Snooze programs
which are specially designed for families and parent-child pairs and
groups, as well as one Snooze which is for kids only. |
|
Cancellation Policy for Group Snoozes:
- Cancellations made prior to one (1) week before the event will forfeit the $200 deposit.
- Cancellations made within one (1) week of the event will forfeit 50% of the program cost.
- Cancellations made the day of the program and no-shows will not receive a refund.
- Rescheduling your program date more than once incurs a $20 processing fee for each time the program is rescheduled.
The Memphis Zoo reserves the right to cancel a Zoo Snooze program if
minimum participant requirements are not met. If appropriate the
Memphis Zoo reserves the right to combine groups to meet minimum
participant requirements. Prices are subject to change.
